Here’s how it works: You connect your laptop to your WiFiMax network. (You create your own Wi-Fi name and password to protect your security on public networks.) You then go to the setup page and scan for nearby networks. With the greater power and range provided by the Swift, the WiFiMax can see the visitor center network and offers it as a choice for you to connect. You choose the network and the WiFiMax connects your RV Wi-Fi to the visitor center’s internet and you are now set to surf the internet from the comfort and privacy of your coach. With a roof-mounted design, the Swift takes advantage of the best Wi-Fi signal available, before it is slowed down by interference. It then sends the signal via a custom coax to the WiFiMax, giving you an unimpeded connection to the internet.

How it works:

Wi-Fi signals are degraded as they move through walls—like those of an RV—slowing data speeds. The outdoor, roof-mounted KING Swift collects and broadcasts Wi-Fi signals before they are degraded, then sends them by a wired connection to the KING WiFiMax, giving you a faster, better-quality Wi-Fi experience.

The KING WiFiMax Wi-Fi Router/Range Extender creates your own personal, private, and secure Wi-Fi network, just like you have in your home. When you are in range of an available Wi-Fi source, or a private network you have the password for—such as a visitor center guest network, coffee shop, hotel, or any other available Wi-Fi source—you simply configure your WiFiMax to connect to that network. Then, it extends the internet access from that network to your own private Wi-Fi network, giving you internet just like you’d have at home.
